Terms of Service
Last updated September 23, 2026
These terms cover theriskr.com and Rhythm Swimmin'. By playing or using the site, you agree to them.
Beta software
Rhythm Swimmin' is in active beta. Features, leaderboards, accounts, and career progress can change, break, or be reset without notice as we develop the game. A full data wipe has already happened once during the beta, and it can happen again. Don't treat anything you build in the beta — a name, a time, a career — as permanent.
No warranty
The game and site are provided "as is," with no warranty of any kind, express or implied — including no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Use it at your own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, THERISKR is not liable for any loss arising from your use of the game or site, including loss of progress, account data, or leaderboard standing.
Accounts
You can play as a guest with no account. If you sign in with Google, you're responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure — we authenticate you through it and don't hold a separate password. One Google account links to one Rhythm Swimmin' account. We may suspend or reset an account for abuse, cheating, or violation of these terms.
Fair play and leaderboards
Race times shown on any leaderboard are the times our server verifies by replaying your run — not a number your device reports. Don't attempt to manipulate, automate, or exploit bugs to post an illegitimate time. We may remove times, posts, or accounts that we believe were obtained unfairly, without notice. Guest ("Walk-On") times are never posted to public or world leaderboards.
User-submitted feedback
Beta feedback you post is tied to your account and may be shown publicly on the feedback board, including your claimed display name, category, status, and vote count. Don't post anything abusive, illegal, or that you don't have the right to share. We may edit the status of a post (open, planned, fixed, wontfix) or remove a post at our discretion.
Acceptable use
Don't use the game or site to harass others, attempt to access data that isn't yours, interfere with the service (including rate-limit evasion or denial-of-service attempts), or reverse-engineer the client beyond what's needed for ordinary play.
Age
Rhythm Swimmin' is intended for players 13 and older. If you're under 13, please don't create an account or submit an email address.
Changes to the service and these terms
We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the game or site at any time, especially during beta. We may update these terms as the game develops; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. We'll update the date at the top when we make changes.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which THERISKR operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
